European horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum L.).  Deciduous trees of the family aesculaceae, found in deciduous woodlands in Europe.  One of the four largest street trees in the world.  The tree is tall and majestic, with broad crown, dense shade and beautiful inflorescence. It is widely used as a street tree and garden ornamental tree in Europe and America.  Its extract has a powerful anti-edema effect and is effective in the treatment of varicose veins, red and inflamed skin.
