Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate

Characters:   It  is a white cystalline powder or granules, with a strong moisture absorption in air. It is easily soluble in water but insoluble in ethanol. Its aqueous solution is alkaline and has effect on inhibition of food spoilage and fermentation. It's made from Di-Potassium Phosphate.

Usage:

1) emulsifier
2) texturizing agent
3) chelating agent
4) preventing the discoloration of canned fruit
5) increasing the swelling degree of icea cream

Storage: Store in a cool, dry area and not in direct sunlight. The preferred storage temperature should not exceed 0ºC-40ºC.

Shelf Life: 24 Months.
